The Foundation administers grant funds (including the Pepsi Academic Grants), endowments and memorial contributions that produce college awards for graduating seniors at Columbia High School.

One of the roles of the Foundation is to attract college awards from private individuals by using its non-profit status, objective screening process and recognition of the fiduciary responsibilities. Additionally, the Foundation uses its own monies to award funds to graduating seniors at Columbia High School on an annual basis. The Foundation also awards funds for participation in summer enrichment programs in the areas of arts, sciences, athletics and more.

How to Help

Donations are accepted at any time. Checks for cash donations should be made payable to the East Greenbush Education Foundation, and mailed to the East Greenbush Central School District Administration Center.

The Foundation also accepts items for the silent auction, which is held in March at the annual gala. If you would like to donate a gift certificate to your business, or auction items, please contact the Foundation President.

The Foundation is ready and able to accept stock or property donations. We are also able to handle charitable trusts. If you would like to establish an annual award for a high school graduating senior in memory of, or in honor of, please contact the Foundation President.
