The East Greenbush Education Foundation is an independent, all-volunteer, community-based organization that mobilizes financial resources, leadership and innovative ideas with the help of the community, local businesses, and a network of district alumni, educators and philanthropists that come together to strengthen and support the educational opportunities for the students in our district.

The East Greenbush Education Foundation encourages students to expand their education by providing grants, scholarships and other opportunities that reward their efforts and enhance their chances to succeed in life.

 

The goals of the East Greenbush Education Foundation are to:

  • Raise funds to support student achievement.
  • Bestow summer enrichment grants.
  • Administer private and corporate grant funds, endowments and memorial contributions to provide college awards for graduating seniors at Columbia High School.
  • Attract college awards from private individuals and businesses.
  • Fund, manage, and maintain the Columbia High School Alumni Hall of Fame.
  • Develop and organize fundraising functions including the Annual Gala banquet.
  • Form partnerships with East Greenbush Central School District community groups and participate in their events.
  • Form partnerships with the alumni of Columbia High School and current student leaders.
