Education Foundation Senior Award - two $500 scholarships awarded to students in the top 25% of their graduating class who have demonstrated commitment to the community in the areas of extra curricular activities, leadership, and community service.
EGCSD Board of Education Pepsi Scholarship - awarded to students planning to participate in some form of post-secondary education.
Terrance L. Brewer Scholarship Award - presented to a graduating senior who has promoted tolerance, endorsed diversity and demonstrated friendship to a fellow student(s) in a recognized and responsible manner.

Nominated Awards
Wurstlin Family Science Award - To a sophomore who has maintained a strong academic record in the sciences during the first two years of high school.
Christine F. Wurstlin, M.D. Memorial Science Award - To a junior or senior who has achieved outstanding accomplishments in the field of science and has demonstrated an exceptional scientific curiosity or potential.
Nicholas Budnowski Memorial Scholarship Award - Presented to a senior who has maintained a strong academic record and was a member of a CHS athletic team. The recipient should demonstrate good sportsmanship and moral character and serve as a positive role model for his/her peers.
Lylet Spatola Thompson Memorial Scholarship - This award is given to a senior who has maintained a good academic record, plans to enter elementary teacher education, has participated in the arts, and possesses exceptional qualities of character.
Lori A. Farnan, M.D. Scholarship - Presented to a senior who plans on entering the field of medicine who has displayed exceptional academic ability and community service.
Jean M. Tracy Memorial Scholarship for Excellence in English - This award was established in honor of Miss Jean Tracy who served as an English teacher at Columbia for forty two years, twenty two as chair of the English department. The award is presented to the senior who has consistently demonstrated excellence in English expression combined with a deep respect for the traditions of literature.
Julia Janosy Memorial Award - Julia C. Janosy was a creative, loving, and caring business education teacher at Columbia High School. Her teaching career was dedicated to helping students who were struggling to achieve. The Julia C. Janosy Memorial Award is presented to a senior business student who best embodies the exemplary characteristics of Julia including an outstanding work ethic, motivation to excel, personal integrity, compassion for others, and a strong interest in business. The student receiving this award exhibits a steadfast commitment to succeed, shows, great promise, and is dedicated to his/her goals. The students has focused his/her studies on business course work and is pursuing post-secondary education.
