Each year the East Greenbush Education Foundation sponsors an Annual Spring Gala Banquet to raise funds for its educational enrichment programs, with all profit benefiting the Foundation Enrichment Grant Program for Students. This function is a popular social event as well, with the Alumni Hall of Fame awards serving as the highlight of the evening.

Dinner selections include Filet Mignon, Salmon, Chicken or Vegetarian, preceded by a hot and cold hors d'oeuvres cocktail hour and cash bar.

Entertainment is provided by the Columbia String Ensemble and Jazz group, and there is a Silent Raffle with great prizes.

And thanks to the generosity of Columbia alumnus Chris Paulsen, photography is provided at no charge by locally renowned Paulsen Photography, who prepare a DVD as well as a booklet of photos of the event.  Additionally, they have done a family photo for each of the past inductees that were interested.
